How to Order your Unique Photo Mosaic
3 Easy Steps
Step 1: Choose your Main Photo
This is the large photo that will be made up of all the small photos. It should be good quality, a minimum file size of 1mb.
Please note, I may suggest a cropping and/or edit of this photo if I think it might enhance the final image. That’s all communicated with you.
Step 2: Choose your small Photos
These will make up your mosaic. A minimum of 100 is required but 200 to 400, or more, is better, (up to 1000) as the more images used the less repeats on your final image.
Step 3: Send your Photos
The methods below are safe, free and easy to use. You upload them here and I download them and set to work to produce your unique mosaic. My preferred option is Wetransfer.com but you can use Google Drive or Dropbox. Choose which ever you find easier to use. If you’re not familiar with any of the methods, don’t worry I can talk you through the process.

For digital copy only, you will receive a jpeg file within 2-3 days.
For prints, a digital proof will be sent for you to view before dispatch. Revisions are free to make sure you’re fully satisfied with your finished mosaic.
As this is a very special purchase every effort will be made to make your experience as easy as possible. I will communicate with you throughout the process and answer any questions you may have.
Please note:
Your photos are only used for the creation of your photo mosaic and will be deleted 3 weeks after receipt of payment. All data is protected until then and nothing is passed on, released, published or similar.
Permission will be sought to use your finished photo mosaic, as an example, here on the website. It won’t be used for this or any other promotional material published by Special Moment Mosaics without your permission.

Please note the smallest size available for your Special Moment Mosaic is 20”x20”. This is the minimum size at which you can see and enjoy the small photo cells.
Order
Standard Mosaic
A Standard Mosaic is your mosaic composed with the main photo fully ‘mosaiced’ with your small photos. This is better when the subject or subjects are in close-up. It appears almost painterly from a distance and the closer you get the small photos become more visible. The fun of the mosaics is having all the photos from one occasion or lifetime and seeing these smaller images when viewing the mosaic.
Layered Mosaic
A Layered Mosaic is your mosaic composed with the background only containing your small images and the subject or subjects remaining ‘unmosaiced’. This style is better when the main photo is of a group or not in close-up. The small images can be made bigger in this process. If you prefer to choose this for a close up image remember there will be less background to fill, so less small images to see.
